Tell us a little about yourself:
Chicago Native & DJ/Photographer. I enjoy traveling, riding motorcycles & spending time with my family. I reside on the Northside in Uptown.
What kinds of art do you create?
Music & photography are the two mediums I practice the most, although I am starting to do more video and design work on the side.
How did you get started?
In high school, I needed an elective, and the photography class drew me in. 35mm with access to a dark room. I really took to that class and ran with it all 4 years. Still have that camera.
Musically I bought my first pair of turntables to learn how to scratch and produce beats for artists, but somehow ended up DJing parties in college. Eventually I started making money with it and just kept riding that wave. Still going today, and have a company called The Music Trust that creates sonic identities for larger brands and hospitality groups.
In one sentence, briefly describe your artistic style:
I strive to be a mixture of minimal and modern contemporary with my photos.
