Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m a Chicago-based photographer, but I prefer New York-style pizza. I live in Logan Square with my orange cat, Queso.
What kinds of art do you create?
More than anything, I strive to tell a story with my work. I typically work through the medium of still photography and motion. I’ll use whatever tool I have at my disposal, be it a large format film camera, or an iPhone, to best capture the scene.
How did you get started?
My photographic background is rooted in photojournalism. Capturing real, honest moments has always been my driving force. I started taking photography seriously in college, working as a photo editor for my university’s newspaper. After college, I worked in the photo library of Playboy magazine before venturing out on my own path.
