Taehoon Kim was born in Korea. He earned the Master of Fine Arts degree and a BFA from Hongik University in Korea. He has exhibited in juried and invitational shows in Poughkeepsie(NY), Los Angeles(CA), Chicago(IL), Atlanta(GA), Kent(OH), Pittsburgh(PA), Baton Rouge(LA), Missori(MO), Aichi(Japan) and Seoul(Korea), among others, and his work has been featured in Giant Robot and Lark books. His work engages with physical and emotional evolution of creatures. Also, he is interested in psychological interaction which is associated with environment or circumstances its basis on poem, novel and movies. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
